About Abzi Negin Shayan
The activity of Abzi Nagin Shayan Fereydunshahr has been started since 1998. We started our work as a small culture unit of rainbow trout. In terms of location, our company is located in the west of Isfahan province, in the foothills of the Zagros Mountains, in order to have constant access to water of the right quality and quantity. With a correct understanding of the production situation of coldwater fish, our company is the only four-season egg production center and has a complete production chain from eggs to feed. During a quarter of a century of continuous activity, the company has always considered itself bound to sustainable production, in accordance with the needs of the domestic and international markets, and today, as a country model company, it has the necessary permits from the Iranian Fisheries and Veterinary Organization.

A unique genetic program under the supervision of Isfahan University of Technology, Department of Fisheries is being implemented in our complex. . This program ensures the production of diverse products, such as, mix-sexed, all female, and triploid (sterile) products with unique efficiency from genetically improved stocks. Breeders have been selected based on important economic traits such as survival rate, growth rate and resistance to diseases. Our company has extensive connections with scientific and research centers across the country, and produce rainbow trout eyed eggs under “Shayan 362” trade mark.
Understanding the current vision, the company has placed its main focus on knowledge-based production, based on reducing costs, preserving the environment, sustainable local employment and continuous communication with academic centers such as Isfahan University of Technology. Reducing water consumption, with rotation and thermal regulation to control incubation conditions, using environmental friendly chemicals, as well as using feed production lines to meet the complex's needs quantitatively and qualitatively, have all led to a reduction in the carbon effects of the complex's activity. Our mission is to be the first green company in the field of trout eyed egg production in Iran.
Our eyed eggs show the highest percentage of survival (more than 95%) compared to the rest available products in the Iranian market. The ideal survival performance is due to the use of selected breeding stocks and special food supplement to meet broodfish needs. The growth performance of our produced fish with the "Shayan 362" trade mark is satisfactory and gives the fish producers the best profit margin. The supply of eyed triploid (sterile) eggs provides the country's export market needs in obtaining fish with high weights without the occurrence of sexual maturity and the loss of carcass quality (especially meat color).
As the only and the first company with a value chain of fishery products in the field of production of rainbow trout, from eyed eggs to table fish and fish feed, Abzi Negin Shayan Fereydunshahr plays an essential role in meeting the demand for this product. It has domestic market and international export. The creation and management of the value chain of fishery products is considered one of the new strategies of the Iranian Fisheries Organization to improve the productivity of aquaculture products throughout the country.
Collaboration with scientific centers is considered as the strength of production activities, especially in the field of aquaculture. Realizing this fact, our company has concluded a scientific agreement with one of the most prestigious domestic research centers, Isfahan University of Technology, providing extensive financial and spiritual support to selected students of this university in the field of aquaculture in order to carry out theses and dissertations. It has fulfilled the demands of the country's aquaculture industry. In addition, the implementation of more than 10 demand-oriented research projects with a focus on the production of all-female, sterile (triploid) eyed eggs, as well as the development of the application of molecular techniques in the breeding programs of rainbow trout., is one of the other activities carried out in line with the aforementioned agreement.
